High flow pistons and shim tuning kit to give you more grip, more control and ultimately, faster segments!
CNC'd from aerospace grade aluminum and hard anodized piston, along with high-grade valving shims. These pistons replace both the standard dynamic and base valve pistons.
As standard, very little flow goes through the base valve, with the shock acting more like a single tube shock. Our pistons and valving tunes allow for more flow through the base valve, for better damping support with less harshness, and more oil recirculation to keep temperatures down. Also, the HSC adjuster becomes much more effective on the Factory model shocks. This all adds up to better grip, more stability and more consistency. With the ability to more accurately dial in your damping.

High flow piston and shim tuning kit to give you more grip, more control and ultimately, faster segments!
A hard anodized, CNC machined, aerospace grade aluminum piston (along with our own proprietary shims), using a design which allows maximum flow within the tight constraints of Rockshox' design. Manufactured to high tolerances, every piston performs the same and fits perfect, every time.
We had to work hard to get this developed and give the performance we wanted. But it paid off - taking a pinch of motorcycle technology, we've utilized triangulated shims to enable a larger flow of oil through the depth of piston able to fit on the standard shaft arrangement, to give much better performance than standard. The standard piston really struggles with recovery on repetitive hits, but we've eliminated that with the use of this design.

- 3D printed shim alignment tool kit, for accurate alignment of the triangulated shims.

If you're looking to change the stroke length, we have made HBO bolts (not available as a genuine spare part) and stroke spacers to allow you to do this.
